Watts Up This Week
We’re got the Elmer net tonight, don’t be shy, come join us @ 7:30PM on the W6EK 2M repeater.
The SFARC Fall Campout is less than 30 days away; it’s not too late to make your reservation at Logger Campground at Stampede Resevior and join us.
We’ve got an up to date map online @ w6ek.org (look for the campout banner) to show you where people will be located. There is still plenty of space available.
Join your friends at SFARC for the entire weekend, or stop by and visit for the day. We’ll have an HF 80-10 meter POTA station, Starlink Internet, pancake breakfasts, potluck dinners, movie night, and plenty of time to relax, hike, off-road, or activate a nearby SOTA peak! The main event activities will be in the Logger Campground at site 227 with camp hosts Brian (AI6US) and Lin (KN6KRD).
If you already booked your campsite and you plan on joining, please RSVP ASAP so we can start meal planning.

Watts Up This Week
Join SFARC on July 31st @ 7:30 PM in the Club Zoom Room as Alan (K7AR) will give a presentation on setting up for your first DXpedition. As a follow-up to his excellent presentation on FT8 Fox/Hound mode, Alan will go into what it takes to plan, set up for, and work a DXpedition. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in what goes into an operation, gaining an appreciation of those that make it possible for hams to work exotic locations, and understanding the challenges involved in traveling abroad with radio equipment. All are welcome to join!
