LOOKING FORWARD

March 16, 2023

Another great club meeting (March 10) has come and passed.  Thanks to all of you who joined in person, and to those who joined by Zoom.  We had a few technical “hiccups”, however the excellent team of Greg KO6TH, Brian AI6US and Orion AI6JB quickly adapted and recovered.  Great job.

Orion AI6JB provided us with another outstand overview of the planning and logistics for the upcoming Loomis Ham Fest.  Don’t forget, the Loomis HAM Fest is Saturday, March 18, at the historic Loomis Train Station in downtown Loomis.  And as an extra treat Taylors is right next store so after you score all those excellent radio parts, treat yourself to one of their 100 plus different milkshake flavors.

And Greg, thank you for your very informative live demonstration last Friday night on using available CAD programs to design projects for 3D Printers.   I wonder how many people you pushed off the fence and down another “rabbit hole”.  Personally, I am planning to win the 3D Printer grand prize at HAM Fest and put it next to my wife’s Kitchen-Aid mixer in the kitchen (yea, right).

Next Club meeting is April 14 at the Crossroads Church Gymnasium in Auburn.   Please bring a generous food donation for the greater Auburn community if you are planning to attend in person. Greg KO6TH is planning another Mystery Shack presentation and I am working on another informative main presentation. What will it be for April?  Stay tuned for future announcements.

73, stay heathy and safe, go work some radio and go build something!
