Watts Up This Week

Hey SFARC Members and Friends,

Welcome to November!
Can you believe we’re headed into year’s end?

HOLIDAY PARTY PLANNING AND RSVPS
We have our first planning meeting this Tuesday, November 3rd @ 6 PM in the club Zoom room. This will be a short 30-minute planning meeting. Please attend if you’re helping organize, presenting, or volunteering for the 2026 Holiday party. For more information about the session, contact Brian (AI6US) at (916) 770-7751 (cell or text).  RSVP’s for the club Holiday Party open on Wednesday, November 4th at https://www.w6ek.org/activities/christmasparty

BOARD MEETING – THIS THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH / 6 PM / ONLINE ZOOM MEETING
SFARC’s monthly board meetings are open to all club members in good standing, and you’re always welcome to join us! It’s a great way to stay connected, hear what’s in the works, and see how the club comes together behind the scenes. We’d love to have you there!

CLUB MEETING – THIS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH / 7:30 PM / IN PERSON OR ON ZOOM
To get into the Holiday Spirit, at least in the secular sense of that term, the Aarons (K6ABJ and W1ATB) have been sitting down with Santa and the Elves to create the ultimate 2026 Holiday Gift Guide for Hams. Over the past year, manufacturers and software companies have brought a number of new products to market, joining an already broad array of must-haves. Some will fit nicely in a stocking, some on the workbench, some swing from a wrist strap, and some sit on a tower. The choices seem endless. Hopefully their guidance helps with your Holiday shopping! In addition, Jim WA8MPA will be hosting another of his legendary “Show and Tell” tables, with a number of select “Stocking Stuffers” in the $10 to $200 range. Come to the meeting and get started early!
