October 2023 Fox Hunt (Front Page Promo)
CALLING ALL HUNTERS!
The hunt is on October 28th, 2023 with Fox Tender Doug (W2VX). We’re going to meet after the SFARC Club Breakfast at the pre-hunt meeting (9 AM in the Mel’s parking lot). If you’ve never done a fox hunt before, rusty, or if you don’t have radio direction finder equipment, ask to ride along with an experienced Fox Hunter! Team hunting is a blast!

Next VE Exam Date (Front Page Promo / November 2023)
Looking for a local location to take your amateur radio license or upgrade exam? Sierra Foothills VE Team provides in-person exam sessions on the 1st Monday evening of the month.
Scholarships are available for new hams, who are under 21 years old and enrolled in an 
education program. The scholarship reimburses the cost of your exam and provides a study guide for the next license level.

Fox Hunt September 2023 (Front Page Promo)
The September Fox Hunt is fast approaching on the 30th at 9:30 AM following the club breakfast. We’ll be using a 1-watt “Baofox” on 146.565 Mhz so you may even be able to hear it at breakfast. Our fox hunts are family and pet friends, anyone can participate, and no license is required! If you’ve never done a fox hunt before, rusty, or if you don’t have radio direction finder equipment, ask to ride along with an experienced fox hunter.
